Highly recommend! We booked a tour Kayaking with the seals and then a 4x4 Dune Experience and the whole tour was absolutely amazing. Our guides on each experience were very knowledgeable and looked after us very well. We arrived by cruise ship and had trouble getting off the ship due to the long wait for the immigration process and we actually ended up missing our tour but the staff were so wonderful and made some calls and got us over to the seals via another of their tour boats. The service was faultless. Kayaking with the seals was a magical experience and we got to spend over an hour with them even with our late arrival. Because of our limited time we chose the snack option rather than the beach braai but there was more food than we could eat. We were then collected from the seals and driven to the National Park and along the beach and then up into the dunes. We visited several big dunes and had a thrilling ride down some very steep slopes. Our guide gave us a lot of information along the way about the dunes and wildlife and was very experienced. We got to see springbok and even a couple of jackals. We got another picnic on the beach which had a beautiful variety of food and drink and we were then returned to the cruise ship. If we are ever back in Walvis Bay I would definitely do this tour again and would not hesitate to book through Mola Mola. Fast and efficient communication of options when we first enquired and easy process for payment.

What an experience we had with our guide SJ who did a sterling job in his commentary, knowledge & photography support. We started out journey with a boat ride to Cape Point where we began our kayaking amongst the colony of seals. Showerproof trousers, coat and lifejacket all provided - wonderful to kayak amongst the friendly and cheeky seals, To help warm up we were provided with lovely hot chocolate with a selection of sandwiches & cake.Next we joined a 4x4 jeep crossing the sands to seek out an incredible experience seeing a frenzy of feeding hump back whales! This resulted in SJ was a pro In his knowledge and great at locating a group of 4-5 black back jackals feeding and pelicans on the beach. An exception tour thank you SJ :)

This tour is an absolute must when visiting Walvis Bay. The beauty of nature and the diversity of wildlife have totally thrilled me. Perfection. Peter runs a tight ship. His staff are all very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I thought the kayaking with seals may be a bit finicky, but it was great fun. The set up is super professional. The guides pass on lots of knowledge and the quality of food at the beach brai was superb. We couldn’t fault the entire day and would highly recommend the full package if time and budget allows.

Captain was Excellent! Informative, Humorous, and Fun! We saw MILLIONS of seals! He got birds and seals to pose with us on the boat! First Mate Yonas fed us delicious food & drinks. The pelican and two seals came right on board to be fed fish. We say more than 60K seals, yes 60K! There were also dolphins, one whale and a flock of flamingoes.

We saw seal, bottlenose dolphin and a jackass penguin.The beach break was a full on dinner with steak, crayfish and oyster with champagne, salads and garlic bread, no one else was booked for this, do it was just us. Most tour operators wouldn't do this for 2, but mola mola did and it was the best with the seals close by and flamingos wading in front if us.Then we did the dune safari with Hanlo. He took us where no one else was, stopped to explain about the pink sand strewn with garnets washed up from South Africa. We went to high point no one else did. He was a confident driver, informative and so friendly. On the way back to our hotel in Swakopmund, he went by the salt mine and stopped so we could get better photos of the flamingos. I cannot fault this trip, well worth every penny and memories I will not forget.

A really great tour. The surroundings seem moderately charming at first. There are numerous cargo ships anchored in Walvis Bay awaiting port clearance. Leaving the harbor bay, we head out to sea towards the sandbanks in front. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and a whale. The highlight is the (fed) animals, which gradually come on board. First it was the mighty pelican, along with his wife, followed by a seal. The guide did a great job. His remarks were interesting and substantiated.

Went on the full day Mola Mola tour, starting with the boat tour in the morning. We were lucky enough to see whales, dolphins, seals, pelicans the lot. After this we stopped for a delicious breach braai and the food did not disappoint. Finally we finished with a 4x4 drive on the sand dunes which was exhilarating. If you are looking for a day tour this is it!

He was as happy discussing local wildlife and dune formation as he was with why Land Rovers are superior to Toyotas!The views throughout the whole trip were breathtaking and truly something that must be seen in person (only improved by seeing it in a Defender).The light lunch on the dunes was yummy and the perfect place to relax.I could not recommend this tour, Wicus and the Defenders enough! The highlight of my trip and something I’ll recommend to everyone and talk of for years to come.

We had an amazing day. All steps are supervised by friendly and competent guides. Meal is a delight. Kayaking in the middle of sea lions amazed us, the 4x4 in the dunes to sandwich harbour is interspersed with photo stops with information on fauna and flora. We saw lots of animals. Day that has a cost but is well worth it. Just think, in July, to be very warmly dressed! Equipment over clothing provided for kayaking.

We started when the fog covered the whole view and drove along the beach to sandwich Harbour. When we arrived the fog cleared off and had the amazing view over the dunes and the ocean. Excellent!!! It was far beyond our expectations. Although we didn’t see any whales or dophins, it was still full of fun. We really enjoyed the moments that we rushed down the dunes by vechile and felt like rollercoasters. It was our first time to walk down the dune, which laid a good foundation for climbing the Big Daddy 3 days later. Besides, the guides were good at cracking jokes, making us laugh all the time. And the snacks were tasty as well. Highly recommended!
