Marine Dolphin Cruise

This is the ‘classic’ Mola Mola cruise with an extra flare for lunch. Accompanied by dolphins, seals, pelicans, whales, fresh oysters, sparkling wine and a beach braai (barbeque) on Pelican Point Peninsula! You will have the time of your life, having reached the splendor of the Namibian Skeleton coast, this five hour activity allows you to experience the amazing riches of our Atlantic Ocean and authentic Namibian cuisine, while enjoying the adventure of a fun and friendly cruise in our fast or planing catamarans.

Your morning starts from the Walvis Bay Waterfront and is filled by an abundance of bird and mammal life, pelicans and seals up close. Delight in the fresh sea air, then great food on the beach, with fresh oysters and bubbles! Add a unique tent shelter, beautifully set tables and delicious menu, on the amazing setting of Pelican Point, and all your senses are alive! Then, a short boat cruise back to the Waterfront.

CHECK IN TIME AND DEPARTURE POINT:

Check-in is 30 minutes prior to departure at Mola Mola office. Clients will receive a boarding pass at check in. All boats depart from the Waterfront Jetty (in front of our office).

Flamingos, Pelicans, Cormorants, White Chinned Petrel, Wilson’s Storm Petrel, Cape Gannet, Black Oystercatcher.

BOATS:

We use fast Catamarans, for the great benefit of time flexibility and with a shallow draft we can go many places that traditional catamarans can’t reach. We are always strict about seating space, and never crowd our vessels. All the boats have a covered cabin area, comfortable seating and toilet facilities on board.

WHEELCHAIRS:

We can accommodate wheelchairs, please advise when booking!

SAFETY:

Boats are fully insured and surveyed annually. All skippers have valid licenses and go through thorough guiding training. All the necessary safety equipment, first aid kits and life jackets (for adults and children) can be found on board of every vessel.

LANGUAGES: 

English, German, Afrikaans. Tour guides, needed for translation purposes, can join on a special guide rate.

CATERING:

Expect a welcoming table with fresh Namibian oysters and sparkling wine. A beach braai (barbeque) with flame-grilled Namibian crayfish and Namibian beef fillet, with a variety of colorful, delicious salads, freshly baked breads, white wine and dessert. Beer, soft drinks, water, and juice are also available.

CLOTHING:

It can be windy on the boat, warm clothes are recommended. Blankets will also be available on board.

SEASICKNESS:

Boats usually stay in the protected lagoon/bay area during the tours. The tours are also done in the mornings before the infamous Walvis Bay wind picks up. All boats are stable double hull catamarans.
