Mola Mola Day
The Mola Mola Day allows you to enjoy all the best experiences in one, epic day! The Atlantic Ocean, the beach at Pelican Point sand Peninsula, amazing lunch occasion and the ancient, magnificent dunes of Sandwich harbour.
Starting your day on our exhilarating boat cruise, you get to meet the popular pelicans and sassy seagulls joining us on board. A friendly seal or two might pop by on the boat, and if you are really lucky, you will get to experience the wonder of dolphins swimming along in the blue ocean waters. With many surprises along the way, our experienced crew will share interesting information and anecdotes about the area.
Reaching the uninhabited Pelican Point peninsula, you will disembark direct onto the beach, where a beautiful Beach Braai (barbeque) set-up awaits. With delicious food (including Namibian crayfish, fresh oysters and beef fillet :) and breath-taking setting, you get to experience true Namibian hospitality and brilliant beach vibes with friends and family.
From the beach to ancient, ageless sand dunes! Our experienced guides and specialized 4x4’s will now take you on an expedition experience for the afternoon! Impossible to describe, we can only share from our decades of experience – Sandwich Harbour and the Namib Sand Sea (now a UNESCO world heritage site) will take your breath away and a permanent place in your memories. Beyond Epic!

We use fast Catamarans, for the great benefit of time flexibility and with a shallow draft we can go many places that traditional catamarans can’t reach. We are always strict about seating space, and never crowd our vessels. All the boats have a covered cabin area, comfortable seating and toilet facilities on board. We use specialized 4x4’s in the form of Land Rover Defenders and Toyota vehicles, well maintained and cleaned daily – always ready for the job and the pictures!
We can accommodate wheelchairs, please advise when booking!
All 4x4’s and boats are fully insured and surveyed annually. All guides and skippers have valid licenses and go through thorough guide and first aid training. All the necessary safety equipment, first aid kits and life jackets (for adults and children) can be found on board of every vessel. We also carry Satphones on Sandwich Harbour tours.
English, German, Afrikaans. Tour guides, needed for translation purposes, can join on a special guide rate.

It can be windy on the boat, warm clothes are recommended. Blankets will also be available on board. Hats and sunscreen lotion is also recommended.
